Yusuf Yakubu formerly known as Gospel General is a UK-based music minister, born and brought up in Nigeria, a photographer, meteorologist and an entrepreneur who just released his highly-anticipated single – ”BURN” featuring K.I.
While the title captures the ‘Consuming Power of the Lion,’ the song also captures a heart cry in the words of Prophet Jeremiah – Then I said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name. But his word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay (Jeremiah 20:9, KJV).
Yusuf shares a heavy dose of encouragement with his new song;
“A broken and a contrite heart, an immense desire to turn from old ways to the way of the Lord. The cry of a continual fellowship and touch with the Holy Spirit. A prayer to only does what Jesus has laid in my heart to do. Only a heart that is consumed by the fire of God can do such things. A heart that carries and runs with the fire of the Spirit of God. This song is a prayer.”
