Grammy Award-winning Gospel star Donald Lawrence has signed a deal for a
syndicated radio show called “Music Therapy with Donald Lawrence.”
Doug Banks Media Group, owned by radio veteran Doug Banks,
will distribute Lawrence’s first foray into radio when the show launches in
January 2015.
“I’m pretty excited about it,” Lawrence said in a statement. “I’ve always
been committed to using music as therapy to inspire and encourage as well as to
entertain and that’s what the Doug Banks Media Group recruited me to do with
this show.”
“Music Therapy with Donald Lawrence” will air on Urban Adult Contemporary
radio stations and feature a mix of inspirational music ranging from artists
like Jill Scott to Sounds of
Blackness.
