Liberian-born music minister – Comfort Cece Koon releases a brand new song titled “Smile” – available on her YouTube channel.
Comfort started her singing ministry at the age of five when she attended Kindergarten at the Pentecostal school located on Gardnersville Road in Monrovia. During her first performance at her school, she received a standing ovation that lasted up to five minutes; because she was very small at the time, she stood on the table to sing.
Performing with her on that day was her classmate by the name of Yamah Koneh who also had a beautiful singing voice. From that time on, whenever the school had a program, Comfort was asked to sing; and they kept encouraging her to sing.
In 2001, Comfort Cece Koon was appointed member of the Liberia Association of Gospel Musical Artists (LAGMA); this role allowed her to participate in the African Choral and Gospel Musical Festival that took place in Ghana that same year where many international choirs participated.
