Dorothy Ewenyi Ozavize also known as ZAVI is a singer born in Ajaokuta and hails from Kogi state. A graduate of Accounting from the University of Abuja, Nigeria. Raised in the Federal Capital Territory, Zavi embraced the cosmopolitan spirit of the city and which also influenced her expression of music. She believes music should transcend cultures and continents.
Growing up in a godly home exposed her to church at an early age where her interest and love for wholesome music was deepened. She began singing professionally after high school.
She has done a couple of background vocal (BGV) for well known names in the Nigerian music industry.
She has been a member of the prestigious and Crystal award winning Avalanche – The official music group of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) since 2012.
She was recently featured in the “Spirit of Peace” by Chris Morgan which was released in February 2015.
