Friday Igbe a.k.a Jolly Praize, a contempoary African gospel musician
started as a backup vocalist over two decades ago. Having worked with many
Gospel artistes like Evang.Timi Orokoya (Telemi), Tope Alabi, Esther
Igbekele, Segun Oluwayomi (Arugbo Ojo), Sunday Jolayemi, Bunmi (Omije
Ojumi) Etc.
He is also an active member & prominent praise-worship
leader of RCCG National Praise Team, Redemption Camp. He is happily married to Oluwabunmi Florence and they are blessed with two lovely children Mayowa David and Morayo Doris Igbe.
“Make me Jolly” is a song about the unending love of Jesus Christ, he gave himself as a sacrifice for the remission of our sins.
“Last two years during RCCG congress with the theme – Signs & Wonders, I saw how God used our Father in the Lord Daddy GO to perform miracles in lives of his children. Then the song dropped in my heart hearing all the testimony from the children of God.Every time I think about his love, He has been so great. Every time I think about His grace I see His signs & wonders. Indeed if we think about His love then we can testisfy that of a truth the lord has made our lives jolly” – Friday Igbe Says.
