The South-Eastern part of Nigeria is continuously caving under the influence of the name of Jesus and one of the vessels proclaiming the mightiness of the name all over the region and beyond is music minister MaryJane Nweke.
From digital social credibility, doing numbers on streams and downloads, to the streets, stages and pulpits; the name of Jesus on the lips of MaryJane Nweke resounds from the region unto the ends of the earth!
Based in Port Harcourt, the fifth most populous city in Nigeria, her song “Doer of Good Things,” off the album “Satisfied” was strong enough to penetrate the integral of the state, earning her several ministrations, from podiums to altars – even state functions.
She has ministered at the Tehila Experience, Abia state, alongside Steve Crown, Joepraize, Samsong, and more. She was also at the Ubulu 4 Christ crusade alongside Amb. Chinyere Udoma in Delta state.
MaryJane is set to release a new single including a complimenting video on the 23rd of June, 2023. The song titled “Otuekong” directly translates “Great Warrior” from the Ibibio dialect of the Akwa-Ibom people of the south-south of Nigeria.
MaryJane Nweke, also known as the Golden Voice is hyped as she looks forward to this release. The song was recorded at Rocktown Studio while the video was shot and directed by Jesus Filmworks.
MaryJane is known for her heartfelt eulogies of God and traditional folk praise songs. While “Otuekong” is no different in style, the rendition is powerfully memorable with its sing-along melody.
