Gospel artist James Fortune is taking a hiatus from
his syndicated radio show “The James Fortune Show.” Fortune’s time off comes in the wake of his arrest last week for aggravated
assault.
Filling in for Fortune will be Gospel singer Isaac Carree. The ‘Clean This House’
singer filled in last week on the evening radio program while Fortune was touring
in South Africa.
Fortune and Carree happen to be best friends. The former Men
Of Standard member was featured on a song on Fortune’s latest CD,
“Live Through It” called ‘Empty Me.’ Fortune also appeared on a song called
‘But God’ on Carree’s 2013 release, “Reset.”
The length of Fortune’s hiatus has not been determined.
“The James Fortune Show” broadcasts from 6pm to 10pm ET and is distributed
via Reach Media, the syndication arm of Radio One.
