Nigerian Reggae maestro – Buchi stepped out from his usual Reggae space to create another sound that is very true with this root releasing new Highlife-centric single themed “Give Thanks”.
Born Buchi Atuonwu, the music minister hails from Abia State with a discography of eight (8) studio albums with Reggaeton as the central genre of his music of worship, praise, prayer inspiration and dance.
Embracing his origin from Eastern Nigeria, Buchi’s new release is Highlife – a genre of music peculiar to Igbo people and also a popular genre is West Africa.
“Give Thanks” by Buchi is a rhythm of thanksgiving and celebration.
Commenting on the song, Buchi noted that, “This song is special to me because it is a song of gratitude as I turn 59.” The prolific Reggae artiste turned a year old on June 24.
