Running one of the foremost Gospel online platforms successfully, Ayodele Smart adds another feather to his hat by including ‘artiste’ to his profile.
‘Gbemiga’ which translates from the Yoruba language to ”Lift Me Up” in English, is a slow-tempo prayer song. A classic which infuses contemporary elements with Afrocentric vibes. It is also heavy on African percussion and horn ad-libs.
Ayodele Smart adapts a sing-along chorus for the prayer song so as to enable a wide range of listeners’ preferences and hopes the answer of the message in the song becomes the experience of everyone listening.
